Kenjiro Higashi

Kenjiro Higashi

Code for Japan

Born in Okayama City in 1978, Kenjiro Higashi currently lives in Kyoto. After working in the private sector, he moved to Kyoto in 2007 and served with the Kyoto Prefectural Government until March 2020.

He is currently Project Manager for Decidim, a citizen engagement platform, at Code for Japan; Vice Chair of the Board at Code for OSAKA; and Policy Advisor to Hino Town, Shiga Prefecture. He is also engaged in teaching and research at Kyoto Seika University, Osaka University, and Kwansei Gakuin University.
